In celebration of the 79th All Star Game at Yankee Stadium, Major League Baseball is pleased to offer youth baseball organizations the opportunity to be a part of Major League Baseball All-Star Week with discounted tickets for the DHL All-Star FanFest. The YMCA has emailed a $5 off coupon to the DHL All-Star FanFest – beginning Friday, July11, 2008, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.
Those attending FanFest can get tips from Major Leaguers, hit in the batting cages, get free autographs and more! MLB Legends scheduled to sign on Friday include: Fred Lynn, Bob Watson, Steve, Sax, Mickey Rivers, Roy White, Luis Aparicio, Dick Williams, George Foster, Jeff Nelson, Rollie Fingers, and Jack McDowell.
The DHL All-Star FanFest interactive baseball spectacular is the largest baseball event in the world. It provides baseball fans of all ages the once-in-a-lifetime chance to experience the fun and excitement of the Major League Baseball Midsummer Classic.
